Szczawno-Zdrój is one of oldest health resort on Dolny Śląsk. City is rich to remedial waters, – soda – calcium and magnesium. There is very rich vegetable robe attractively near Szczawno-Zdrój. Green fields like woods (forests), pastures and grasslands and orchards occupy near 60% of area.

In health resort are two parks kept in english style ( spring and swedish - area 26,5 ha) with rich native and aclimatic vegetation. There are amoung 180 sorts of trees where many of them are shrubs monuments of nature (about 130). For extraordinary attention deserve beautiful flowers.
Parks emerge on ravine XVIII and XIX century. Health resort connects multiaged traditions , XIX century architecture, unique climate and exceptional specificity of remedial waters with all newest achievements of medicine XXI century. |
